Which Archive To Choose?
The Wayback Machine at https://web.archive.org/save is overall more reliable than Archive.is, because it's managed by a large organization. Archive.is sometimes saves with better formatting and may be faster.
Step-By-Step Directions:
Copy the URL of the Web page you want to archive from the URL Bar at the top of your browser.
Then open the archive Website of your choice by clicking one of the two Buttons on our Homepage.
At the archive Website, enter the copied URL of your original content URL Form.
Then click Save or Save Page on or near the URL Form.
The archive Website will then save that Web page under a new URL, which is your archive.
The archive Website will then display the URL of the new Archive you've just created.
You'll have to bookmark or otherwise store the URL of the new archive you've just created.
The Wayback Machine at Archive.org has been archiving the entire Internet (as best it can) for about 20 years. It’s an institution. When you want to see what the news on CNN was on a certain date, visit the Wayback Machine at https://archive.org.
